Under a sponsored research agreement, the Initiative partnered with Ecometrix Solutions to develop an Ecosystem Services Assessment (ESA) for the FujiFilm Diosynth (Galaxy) campus in Holly Springs, North Carolina. The ESA is a scientific study, conducted over a specific timeframe, that addresses an array of issues associated with the FDB campus development, its impact, and its benefit on environmental, societal and economic conditions. The goal of the assessment was to inform the design development actions, programs, and activities of FDB in the promotion of a sustainable, resilient and responsible campus construction strategy.
