Bio

Imran Aukhil is a Principal at HR&A Advisors, a real estate and economic development consulting firm. He has worked on a range of development projects across the United States, including at multiple UNC System institutions. His work focuses on leveraging economic drivers, such as scientific research, innovation, professional and collegiate sports, and public investment, to drive real estate development and community building. Imran holds bachelors and masters degrees in architecture from NC State University and an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill with concentrations in real estate development and consulting. He has taught courses in the Pappas Real Estate Development Program since its inception in 2021 and has a passion for seeing students develop practical knowledge and real-world understanding.
