Bio

Alyson Bode is Senior Vice President and Head of Research at Kettler. Ms. Bode joined Kettler in 2017 and advises leaders in development, acquisitions, asset management and operations across Kettler’s vertically integrated platform by providing actionable market intelligence and reporting. Alyson also leads Kettler’s data strategy supporting investment and executive decision making and analysis of the Kettler markets, customers and portfolio.

Prior to joining Kettler, Ms. Bode was a Director of Market Research at AvalonBay Communities. Alyson was responsible for research across AvalonBay’s national portfolio of communities including investment committee materials, portfolio review and models used in the company’s underwriting and was tasked to head up specific initiatives for portfolio shaping and expansion strategy.

Before joining AvalonBay Ms. Bode was a Vice President at regional research and consulting firm, Delta Associates, and was responsible for several of the firm’s publications covering most major real estate product types. She also served as project director on multiple consulting assignments and has conducted feasibility studies and provided litigation support to the firm’s clients.

Ms. Bode received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The George Washington University with a focus in Real Estate Finance.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Economics, with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. Alyson also holds a Certificate in Data Science in Real Estate from MIT’s School of Architecture and Design.

Alyson has been awarded the CRE® (Counselor of Real Estate) designation by the Counselors of Real Estate, a global organization of commercial property advisors, and sits on the Board of the Carolinas Chapter. She also holds leadership positions in the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Multifamily Product Council – Green Flight.
