Placemaking By Design: Innovation in Transportation

Placemaking by Design, a panel series hosted by the Pappas Program, focuses on the interdisciplinary strategies that foster healthy, resilient and vibrant communities. The second event in the series will focus on innovations in transportation and feature guest speakers Billy Williams, director of the Institute for Transportation Research and Education at NC State, and Dan Burden, director of innovation and inspiration at BlueZones.

Join us at Raleigh Founded cafe inside Partners Building I on Centennial Campus. Free parking will be available at the Oval West Parking Deck directly behind Partners Building I. Once inside, you can validate your vehicle’s license plate.

No advance registration is required, and the event is free for everyone.
